I like Daryl. He's badass with a side of tenderness, (i.e. him handling the baby, taking care of Carol, etc.). But Merle? He's just a POS that only cares about himself.
I hope that Glenn kicks the living shit out of Merle. That would make me happy.
Oh and yes, this show needs more color. I'm still wondering what happened to the guy and his boy in Season 1. I won't say what happens in the comics, but I hope to see them both come back.
