Yes.

Our defense allowed the Pats to do anything they wanted.
Our offense allowed pressure on the QB, couldn't get the WR's the ball, and couldn't really put but one drive together for 3 quarters.
We played the best team of the last 20 years and best HC of all time.

All that said the PATRIOTS HAD TO COME BACK, TWICE, TO WIN.

KC was winning the game midway through the 4th quarter. The Pats did everything they wanted to do for 3 quarters and none of it mattered.

The Pats still had to come back in the 4th quarter and then had to take it to overtime to beat us in the AFCC game.

So yeah, that's a helluva lot different than losing to an inferior opponent in the first game...
