Congratulations. I pray that the pregnancy goes well and you have a healthy baby in due time.
Here's my advice:
1. You're the dad, not the friend.
2. The best way to love your kids is to love your wife.
3. Let them cry it out sometimes...and by all means don't be a helicopter parent.
4. Offer unconditional love and grace to your kids.
5. Live in the moment. They'll be out of the house before you know it.
6. The whole point of parenting is to prepare them to be adults.
7. Know how to count to "3." Discipline your kids...don't punish them.
8. Give yourself grace. You can't be fully prepared for what parenting is, but God gave your child to you knowing your shortcomings.
