One thing I LOVE about Reid is his ability to get his players to buy-in. That's a crucial talent and we're lucky to have it. Despite his shortcomings, one thing Marty was good at was getting his players to understand and sympathize what it meant to look at these games from a historical and fans point of view. He was all about the team pride and being able to sell it to the players. I bring this up because I wonder if Reid hasn't started to work this angle as well?
I look forward to the day when Mahomes has matured to the point that he and the offensive coordinator can effectively run the show and let Andy focus a bit more on his HC duties on game day.
