Sure was my pug. The whole reason for the name, in fact (I haven’t had another one).

I watched her get run over by an S10 Chevy pick-up when she was about 1 year old — the guy was going probably 60+ in a 35 MPH zone. She ran out in the road about 250 feet from our doorstep, and rolled under the vehicle several times. She then popped up and we sprinted to meet her in the driveway to find that she fortunately only had a few cuts on her head, no issues walking.

I never saw her get close to the road again, ha. I knew she was special for certain that day, and we were blessed with another wonderful near 13 years. Things like that help to keep things in perspective — she had an amazing run.

That's cool. Stumppy was my dog at the time I stumbled across this place. When I went to register, first time ever for a BB, he was sitting at my feet when I came to 'username'. I thought sure, why not. I had to put old stumppy down many years ago so I keep this name in his memory.
