Fans are excited about their ****ing homegrown starting QB. We haven't had one since... well, EVER. If they jump the gun on their excitement, who the hell ****ing cares?

He's a young QB. You can be the biggest Mahomes homer in the world and still say that he might need some time to get used to the NFL. Those aren't conflicting statements.
