He didn't win shit in OKC. He was there for damn near a decade and didn't win. How much longer is he supposed to stay? 15 years? 20?
He was not giving up a chance to win a ring if he stayed with the Thunder. You act like the Thunder lost 0-4 to the Warriors and got blown out every game. They came very close to winning the championship with Durant.

It's not the same to join a super team and win it when you could be the driver and win a championship that way.

How can you join a 73-9 that just beat your team the way they beat the Thunder? Draymond Green kicks your teammate in the nuts and you go join that team. You call Westbrook (who clearly doesn't like Curry) your brother then go join a team with Curry. Talk all this crap about how you love OKC and then leave.

Durant is as fake as they come. He is a selfish prick who can't be trusted.

The NBA is going to continue to suck if players like Durant keep doing this. There is only going to be a few teams worth watching and small market teams will never have a chance to compete because as soon as their star players contract is up they'll go to the best team in the league.

Durant and LeBron both set a bad trend that hopefully will not continue although at least LeBron went back.

Reggie Miller talked about this and explained it way better than I ever could.

OKC is overrated. Westbrooks great season has hidden them as a team. They have a ton of holes that I figured would easily be exposed during the postseason. It'll probably take them years to get back to how good they were with Durant-Westbrook.

Durant leaving really hurt that team but at least they made the playoffs and were able to sign Westbrook to an extension.
