I don't get the hate.

This story was always going to be about Hell's Kitchen/Harlem and less Super hero and more story driven.

Cage was originally a blacksploitation character and only gained a resurgence in popularity with (Marvel Comics) Civil War where he was pretty much the under ground RR for heroes. After that he became the main hero with a distrust of not only the government (a valid post-9/11 concern) but of other heroes as well.

He always was the person at the back of the room saying "I don't like what I see here. "
