Possibly...but why? What did he know? That the killer was actually Hayes? Was it a cover up? I'm tellin' ya man ....I think Hayes did it.

Only thing not adding up is the false eye but could be revealed later. His comment at dinner with Amelia about how predators see children was awkward. But we'll see I guess.
