I think your blowing the picks thin out I proportion a little, but even at that, we needed a starter this year and we got one for a 2nd round pick. So that's not really a wasted pick in that said guy is a ton better this year than anyone we could have gotten in the 2nd round.
And if he plays well enough that we lose another 2nd rounder, it's either that he's really excelling in this offense or he's managed his way to not **** up.
In Andy Reid typical offenses, I don't thin the second option can really happen, so until he receives a contract extension I view him as a stop gap with the chance to become the guy.
