Sad part is the players' haven't bought in since the Dick Vermiel days. How else do you explain the Indianapolis' & 49ers' franchises' turning it around the year after major suckage?
I thought the team was in love with RAC so it's hard to figure out what's going on now. Has RAC ever had a respectable defense on his own (w/o Belechick holding his hand)? He's average & above average on occasion when playing big time QBs'. There shouldn't be any question why the D is below average, the DC is below average.
Teams are usually a direct reflection of their coach.
Last year proved we have a talented team after Haley was fired. The players' showed up & beat the league MVP & a previously unbeaten team. All they did was set this franchise back years.
Chunt needs to find someone who can find the gleam.
