In Austin a couple years back we had a serial rock thrower who - for 2 years and over 100 incidents - would drive in the left (fast) lane of I-35, and would chuck large rocks over the median and into the front windshield of cars in the left lane heading the opposite direction.
Was super ****ed up, and ruined one guys life by almost killing him and leaving him with permanent brain damage and unable to walk.
Guy got 40 years for it when they caught him - he accidentally targeted a patrol car and they caught him on dashcam.
