Nothing wrong with giving him some time at AAA especially if he’ll be dabbling some in the OF. He’s the most capable in my opinion of playing elsewhere. Have to find a way to fit the 4+ knocking on the door in 3 spots. Patience, we have 160 to go.

Not that this is their thinking, but we get the extra year of team control for Pratto and enough time to determine whether we can trade Santana or just need to DFA him. After two scoobale plays at 1st the last two games (that Santana missed), I'm all-in on letting the Santana era end one way or the other once we get to June. Pratto makes the infield defense other-worldly elite.
