I saw an article where they did root canals and crowns on a tiger in a zoo somewhere, put gold crowns on it's canine teeth or "fang" teeth. Pretty cool looking.

Tiger seems good. For some reason I think they would have better breath than chimpanzees. A whale would be pretty cool too, though I don't know which whales have teeth and which have those baleen things. But it seems like standing in the mouth you're working on would be a great story at dental conferences.
