That's a fairly broad sentiment. And in keeping with the times [thinking of Smollett and the prosecution AND defense of his actions,' I propose that there should be a sense of action/fraud parity.
That is, you are entitled to say that a fraudulent accusation isn't that big of a deal. But in doing so, you forfeit the right to advocate that an actual analogous accusion IS a big deal.
And vice-versa, if you are an advocate against legitimate bigoted social interactions, even on a personal level, you need to pledge to advocate just as passionately against fraudulent scenarios.
