The first book has some cool stuff going on. I just think it would have been better if he had wrapped everything up in that book, or at least had the sequel do so.

Oh man that's a hard one, I'd guess everyone has a different answer. I guess Slow Sculpture is kind of a standard of his but it really is excellent.
