I don't give a shit about the rankings after we see them on the court for a year. That class was crap. Grimes was supposed to be this killer scorer on the court.
Its no different from the NFL. You picked Grimes. Highly rated on the draft boards. But, its your job to look beyond ratings on boards. Guarantee you their were red flags with him that some saw in his play, his mental outlook etc.
Self is still one of the top 3 coaches on anyones list. He still has missed on many recruits lately. Too many to be just luck and finicky teenagers. He needs to figure out how their values on recruits for too many lately are so far off from production.
