Not only is it a terrible idea to hire some guy with no coaching experience to be a DC, it's a doubly terrible idea to hire a guy who's spent a lot of time in Bob Suttons scheme if you want to shake things up.
Props though, this is a way less terrible idea than the Romo as DC idea I saw floating around.
