Sounds weird I know. But it's true.
I used to pitch in baseball...and I used to HATE it when a ball would get dinked to me. The hardest throw ever was that throw to 1B when it felt like you had all the time in the world to make a nice easy simple toss.

There is something to it no question. Look- Tom is 41. I have no doubt in my mind hes lost
something. He can still sling it. He can still move around in the pocket. He can still process 1000 things in 10 seconds. But I question in those situations that require a .00002 millisecond reaction time he can handle consistently. Hes human. He needs the anticipation and that comes with comfort in his receiving corps.
Hell I'm 47 and in my youth played DII hoops. I cant do the stuff I did back then. I'd snap or break something and while in my mind I have the reaction time the body says, "nope, no way you are doing that.".
