The coldest I have ever been was when it was in the mid-20's when I was in Georgia for AIT. Humidity + cold means it just worms into you no matter what. Where I live now, it isn't unusual to get down to -10° to -20°F for a few days in the winter. It's much, much drier so while it is unpleasant, it isn't nearly as bad.
