All I'm trying to say is, "I get it." And if I didn't, I wouldn't say it. I just decided that Chiefs-centric disappointment and anger and frustration and all that were preventing me from enjoying fully the good things in life. Our QB misses a throw? Expletives! Chiefs lose a game? Depression! That's a world I no longer have an interest in living in ... for myself (and I'm not telling anybody else how to live ... or be.)
Nowadays, I see us as uniquely fortunate. Mahomes is a generational talent and he's paired with the perfect coach to help him develop and maximize his potential. Other teams are jealous as hell. And they should be. What we're witnessing is rare. And like Shakespeare said, "Rare is rare."
As of now, I see the shortcomings and setbacks as learning experiences for the team. That's how I look at it.
On the other hand, I've had a morbid, terrifying, sepulchral fear of unicorns my whole life.
