I've never been one of those fans who just picks his team to win every week regardless, and quite frankly those who have been like that have looked like idiots for years because we've never had the team that rewards that type of blind loyalty. In the biggest games we've often come up on the wrong end of it.
BUT: I don't know if I can or will pick against us again all year. Why should I? Even against the Rams, who are undeniably a top 2 team in the power rankings, why should I pick them? Our offense is just as good or better, and we have Mahomes, they don't.
I'm basically at the point where I'm gonna predict a win every week with a one-word reason why: Mahomes. That's it. **** injuries, home or road, bad calls or bad luck, the opponent's strengths and weaknesses. We have Mahomes, they don't.
