I always said that the reason I wanted Mahomes so badly before the 2017 Draft was because he was one of the rare prospects who had the potential to be truly elite. Sure, he could bust hard, but you could at least imagine a scenario where he did in fact become Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers. Few have that ability.
With each passing day, I become more and more confident that he is going to reach that ceiling one day.
