3. None of the "experts" had him pegged as a top QB in the draft at all. So, when they get exposed by the best offensive minds in the game all clamoring to be able to take him, they have to save face. So, they say, "well, sure Sean Payton and Andy Reid and Bruce Arians all were killing each other to draft him, but we weren't wrong - they wanted to develop him. MAYBE it will work out, but he wasn't ready enough for us to rate him as highly as he obviously should have been. NOT OUR FAULT."

Great post- pretty accurate- especially #3 and the way the local media has treated Mahomes. KK in particular.
They want him to fail so bad so they can say-"See, I was right all along."
