My SO and I gave each other for Christmas some much needed outdoor cooking "Camping" gear. An electric 2 burner induction cooktop, and a convertible tabletop infrared portable grill. We also did some personal items the best being his and her's "Mahomes ll "jerseys.
We were looking to buy this or something like it.
but this company offered a 2 weekend trial offer for <$50 on this unit.
I was given a killer deal on the brand new, in sealed box, "Demo" unit they sent me to try. It was priced at $997 then they took $400 off, calling it a "demo" sale. The deal made it the same price as the bigger yet 40lb lighter value model lacking "important" features, thinner metal, and much less warranty. When I mentioned that I needed a NG hose and regulator, he included one. When I got my receipt it didn't say Demo just "VIP Pricing" and they had credited the $48 rental fee that wasn't supposed to apply. I don't know why, but I wasn't asking questions.
The SO cooked poor man's fillets and veggies on it this evening and loves it. Shes happy, I'm happy.
The True burner cooktop looks nice but have not used it yet. Concept is interesting as it's not hot unless somethings on the burner.
