The Verizon Center in DC is a great place to watch a hockey game. One of the better stadiums I've been to.

Lot's of places to eat and drink all around the stadium as it in in the heart of DC in Chinatown.

If you like wine and charcuterie, the restaurant Proof, right around the corner is fantastic.

Jaleo, Zaytinya and Rasika are also great and one of our fellow CPer's went to Rasika on my recommendation and called it the best Indian they ever ate

Also the spy museum is really close by if you have extra time.
