Winchester

Why no blame directed at him?

On the FG to go up 8, he snapped the ball before anyone was ready. He doesn’t do that and we keep momentum and go up 8 with less than 2 mins left.

Dude was the Dee Ford of this game, imo.

Been great all year besides that snap.

I wonder what happened there.

Don't read much, do ya?

Colquitt said it was a miscommunication. It was Winchester’s fault. Colquitt I’ve never seen him look that angry before

All Reid's fault. If he gave Winchester more individual attention in practice, this never would've happened.

I think Vegas called him on the red phone and gave him his orders, personally.

Cut his ass!!!!

He was a disaster yesterday. However he has been our long snapper for like 6 years now and this is the first mistakes I can think of. Cutting him would be an overreaction but if it happens again he should be gone

Yeah, he was pretty ticked. I was shocked to see his reaction.

I guess when you're a holder you don't want things to happen that will get you hit. That and the missed scoring attempt.

I'm curious what happened, though. They've worked together a long time and are a well-oiled machine. Winchester had to have heard or saw something that made him think they were set.

Maybe Winchester was also distracted by the possibility that he was going to have to play right tackle, too.

I'm not sure I agree. We have an elite holder. He's had a lot of shaky snaps over the years. I actually think both Winchester and Colquitt both screwed this one up. But I feel like Winchester has had a lot of shaky snaps over the years. Not sure I'm all that crazy about him.

What's Thomas Gafford up to these days? Dude was nails as a snapper.

I LOVE a good snapper...

BigBeauford 11-11-2019 01:15 PM

Big misfire by Winchester.

He really jumped the gun on that snap.

Why didn’t Colquitt punt the ball on a bad snap?

Still wondering......
