Yahoo down: Yahoo Mail and website not working
 

UPDATE: Yahoo is back online. At least partially. Not all the links are working.

Yahoo is suffering from a major outage this morning with users unable to access the website or its popular Yahoo Mail service.

The issues began at around 7:30 am (London) with thousands of fans appearing to be blocked from accessing Yahoo or getting into their inbox.

When trying to check the main homepage, users are currently faced with the message "This site can’t be reached. www.yahoo.com’s server IP address could not be found."

Down Detector, which monitors outages across the web, is also showing thousands of reports across the UK and the rest of the world.

Issues have been spotted around Europe and parts of the US.

Posting messages on Down Detector's forum, one user said: "No Yahoo at all today but I've never had this before. Anyone know what the problem actually is?"

Whilst another added: "Yahoo mail not working on my iPhone neither or the app nor the website."

Yahoo fans have also taken to social media to vent their frustrations with one user posting on Twitter: "Anyone know if Yahoo mail is down? It's not loading for me.'

Whilst another vented: "The entire site is down and I'm getting a 'server not found' message for any yahoo address. How the heck can we use your mail (which I've had for 20 years) if there's no site?"

There's currently no word on when the issues will be fixed or how long this huge outage will last but we'll update this article once we find out more.

haha I thought my company had blocked Fantasy Foootball. . glad to see its a global issue not juts a workplace one
