I remember there was a Chiefs/Falcons Thursday night game scheduled for the week the strike started ('82?)

First prime time game we'd had in forever and it gets axed by the strike.

Edit: Found it.

Technically we played a Friday night game during one of the Vermeil years due to a hurricane coming into Miami, but that wasn't a national TV broadcast so it really wouldn't count in this chart. But it was a Friday night game.

hehe, i wish they could do what the baseball fans did, they ditched R/mlb for R/Baseball and its pretty solid.

KCFX mentioned that again last weekend. I remember that game. A lot of rain. We won.

Looks like he might have.

One more thing about the data: I categorized games by which brand produced the broadcast, because if not it would get messy. The different programs often air games on a night that isn't in their title. Even when MNF was the only primetime show, they sometimes had games on Sundays, Thursdays, Saturdays, or even Fridays. It happens today mostly at the end of the season, especially around Christmas.

Dallas drawing Sunday Night 42 times since the end of 2005 seems...

.. I dunno ...

Excessive as ****, perhaps?

An average of more than 3 times per season. Pathetic.
