Elway thinks it's because he's not tall enough.

It's a shame. Great guy and a good player.

He’s made plenty of money during his career. He should be just fine. I can see him having a broadcasting career too. |
I'm glad he's not going to give it another shot. Enough is enough.
He has plenty of money. He's a good person with a great family. Maybe that should be sufficient to live an enjoyable and productive life. Maybe the booth? FAX |
I can’t see Smith doing broadcasting. He wasn’t one of the more talkative guys but he did know plays
|
Bummer. Glad he got paid first.

It was pretty obvious as soon as it happened, he was done. Glad it ain't us that's stuck with the guaranteed money.

Hardly news. Bad injury.

riveting reporting by LaCalifornia

Hope he enjoys retirement. He turned himself into a very respectable QB after a disastrous start in SF.
|
Honestly,
After our OC moves on, wouldn't mind bringing him in as a QB Coach/OC |
Too bad for Alex, he seems like a really good guy. I think he would be a good broadcaster as well, he seems to have a really high football IQ and is well spoken.
