Which means he’s here another year for certain...

Just please show up and make some plays Berry. Make this all worth it.

Watch the video. Says the plan is to have him have surgery.

BigRedChief 01-20-2019 09:46 AM

Should have had the surgery last off season. But, the Chiefs cant force players to have a surgery.

Better get that surgery, still one more payday to be had!

Chris Meck 01-20-2019 10:04 AM

well, I think it's pretty clear that we can't do this again next year. If he has the surgery and can go close to a full season next year, then cool. It's not like he's not a great player when he can go.

Dr. Yu Weed Tard 01-20-2019 10:09 AM

The plan was to get the surgery this offseason all year.

The Iron Chief 01-20-2019 10:10 AM

Plans for surgery are SB to SB Said Reid

Shaid 01-20-2019 10:11 AM

So we have him another year. Support him and if he comes back looking good and making a difference, great. If not, we cut bait.

DRM08 01-20-2019 10:12 AM

What is the recovery time?

Shaid 01-20-2019 10:18 AM

I don't know for sure but I thought Achilles were in that 6-8 month range or so. Maybe since they are going in and operating directly and not dealing with a tear, it would be less.

Would have missed this season if he had the surgery when the issue popped at camp.

John wall is having surgery on his haglunds deformity too and his recovery time was also 6-8 months.

Hopefully the season opener.....
