Which means he’s here another year for certain...

May have surgery?

Watch the video. Says the plan is to have him have surgery.

Should have had the surgery last off season. But, the Chiefs cant force players to have a surgery.

Better get that surgery, still one more payday to be had!

well, I think it's pretty clear that we can't do this again next year. If he has the surgery and can go close to a full season next year, then cool. It's not like he's not a great player when he can go.

The plan was to get the surgery this offseason all year.

So we have him another year. Support him and if he comes back looking good and making a difference, great. If not, we cut bait.

What is the recovery time?

I don't know for sure but I thought Achilles were in that 6-8 month range or so. Maybe since they are going in and operating directly and not dealing with a tear, it would be less.

Would have missed this season if he had the surgery when the issue popped at camp.

John wall is having surgery on his haglunds deformity too and his recovery time was also 6-8 months.

When does the injury guarantee kick in?

Hopefully the season opener.....
