Berry having surgery in the offseason

May have surgery?

well, I think it's pretty clear that we can't do this again next year. If he has the surgery and can go close to a full season next year, then cool. It's not like he's not a great player when he can go.

The plan was to get the surgery this offseason all year.

So we have him another year. Support him and if he comes back looking good and making a difference, great. If not, we cut bait.

What is the recovery time?

I don't know for sure but I thought Achilles were in that 6-8 month range or so. Maybe since they are going in and operating directly and not dealing with a tear, it would be less.
