Watkins foot and LDT news
Reid indicated that Sammy’s foot is still attached, and “feeling good!
Also tomorrow is the deadline for activating players off IR. Veatch is to meet with LDT to determine whether he is ready. If not, maybe Watts? (My speculation). |
Id rather go with the one that is closest to playing. If neither really has a chance to play leave them both on it. If both are ready go with LDT.

Great!

I don't believe Watts has begun practicing, but LDT has. I could be way off on that.
|
Adding either of those guys could have a real impact on the next two games. Excited to see what happens.
|
Great! Watkins is very important. LDT is better than Cam Erving but I doubt the want to mess with continuity, so he may be activated but probably won't start.
|
Hopefully, Watkins won't drop passes and fumble this next game.

Even bringing back LDT for depth and cutting Allen would be a plus.
|
LDT, if ready to play. More to offer than a rookie safety (who hasn't played much at all) in the AFC Championship game and Super Bowl. (I love Watts' potential and hope he blossoms into a Pro Bowl starter soon. But right now, LDT would seem the smarter choice, IMHO.)
|
Yeah, it's either LDT or no LDT. Don't think Watts is a possibility. The issue is if they activate LDT they need to make space for him on the roster.
|
I'd normally say leave the lines how they are (this late) - but LDT is such a tremendous player that he'd adjust 'on the fly' just fine.

Even if they activate LDT, I would be highly skeptical of him starting the AFCCG after being out for so long. Yes he's a better overall player than #75, but he's ice cold on game-day speed and might have lost some awareness.
Let the OL ride for right now-- if we make it to the promised land, then he can return to the starting lineup. |
Who cares about Watts? Dafuq has he ever done other than be a broke dick? Watts is the next Sanders Comings, but slower. And more of a broke dick. Get over Watts. You activate LDT it's not even a question. |
