Wait, hear me out here.

Our D got two huge stops late in the game that led to the 14pt. lead. Also on that last drive, at least they strung it out until after the two minute warning - which was huge (thanks Steelers for being in no hurry either).

We know they suck. But if they can at least be tough late and get a key stop every now and then, that could be good enough for the Mahomes show.

I just don't know how our pass rush is worse this year then last year

You can't judge our rush based n a game vs the Steelers. We may still be garbage but the Steelers hold on every down so no way to make an informed judgment. Next 2 weeks will let us know.

I agree. They did just enough to win. Doesn’t fill me with any confidence going forward, but it is what it is.
