I didn't see a thread about this show so I decided to start one because it's a show that is truly worth watching/following (in my opinion).

Initially, I wasn't interested in this show but, at the urging of a friend, I finally decided to sit down and watch the first episode and I was hooked.

There are fantastic performances throughout the first season and it's well worth the time. This is just one great performance of many on the show (spoiler from episode 1):

Anthony Hopkins
Evan Rachel Woods
Thandi Newton
Ed Harris
James Marsden
Ben Barnes
Jeffrey Wright

Among others. There are also a bunch of tits on the show, think Spartacus level stuff during some scenes.

Who started that trend among actresses; to expel extra breath when speaking in order to impart an emotional impact? I noticed it last year and it seems to be picking speed. Very annoying.
