In their prime who was the better Middle Linebacker for the Chiefs ?

OK, I need your help in settling a disagreement with a fellow member.

He claims Anthony Davis was a beter LB for the Chiefs than Marvcus Patton.

Need your opinons.

Poll coming.

Most definitly DAVIS! Davis was awesome at MLB. Patton was good but at the end of his career when we got him. And I am not sure he ever played with the intensity Davis had.

Definitly Anthony Davis. We got Patton on the downside of his career.

Davis was much much better.

el borracho 03-02-2005 09:30 PM

Davis was better as a Chief.

Patton (still good) had past his prime in his time here.

Hammock Parties 03-02-2005 09:30 PM

Patton had one good year here.

Davis had several.

End of story.

royr17 03-02-2005 09:31 PM

Davis was good but he had alot of talent around him to make him better, Patton was older at the time but he was a true leader of a defense when the defense didnt have players like Smith, Thomas, Simien, Edwards, and Carter.

Mike Maslowski owns them all.

I disagree. Davis played with much more intensity than Patton. Don;t ge tme wrong I liek Patton he was good for our team. But I think toe-toe Davis was more intense and harder hitting.

It's ok, Roy. People have different opinions. Just because you think yours is correct doesn't make everyone else a moron.

Follow up poll....Who was better? Neil Smith or Eric Hicks?

C-Mac 03-02-2005 09:36 PM

Marcus Patton.
Anthony Davis never made it to his "prime".

Hicks! Neil always had Derrick Thomas and all that talent around him! Neil Smith could never have gotten 9 sacks in a Greg Robinson defense!

petegz28 03-02-2005 09:38 PM

Are we talking Smith as a Charger???
