Out of Joseph, Toub, and Ratface Jr., Joseph was by far the weakest candidate they could have hired.
I'm definitely excited. |
Wait. Vance Joseph is black?

How's The Mane right now? Link a brother up!

Greatest hire ever. superbowl every year. /Knowmo

This is a very odd choice.
Joseph's defenses were nothing special. The rumor mill is also saying the Joseph will hire Mike McCoy as their offensive coordinator. If McCoy couldn't beat the Chiefs with Phillip Rivers, how is he going to beat them with Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch? |
So the broncos have a problem with their offense but have a very good defense.
so they fire their HC. Then they hire a defensive Head coach that will replace their best coach(wade phillips) and leave their shitty offense still shitty? :hmmm: |

The guy has literally interviewed for every single opening this year (including the Bills), hasn't been hired and may end up with the Chargers. It must just suck to be a Chargers fan. |

Know what he's doing? He's hiring a coach that's going to suck so that he can get a #1 overall pick in the next draft in 2018 where the QBs will actually be worth something.
|
Vance Joseph is a 44 year old mostly career position coach. He was only a Defensive Coordinator for one season and that was with a Dolphins defense ranked 29th in yards allowed and 24th in points allowed.
Seems like a weird hire. |
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Broncos will interview ex-Raiders OC Bill Musgrave and ex-Chargers coach Mike McCoy for their offensive-coordinator vacancy on Thursday.
Both would be excellent hires for new coach Vance Joseph, who just landed the Broncos' job Wednesday. Musgrave was let go by the division-rival Raiders earlier this week and would obviously have a fire burning in his belly to get "back" at Oakland. McCoy was the Broncos' OC before getting the head job in San Diego. Musgrave has also been linked to Cal-Berkley's head-coach gig. |
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Broncos?src=hash">#Broncos</a> hiring of Joseph reminds me of <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Packers?src=hash">#Packers</a> going with McCarthy and <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Steelers?src=hash">#Steelers</a> going with Tomlin. I don't understand this hire and why would they want to get rid of Wade?

Would be amazing if they lose Wade. Oh and did I mention this is a really shitty year to draft OL? ROFL |

The only thing that matters with the Broncos is who plays QB and whether they become any good.
Hopefully not and we can write them off for 3-4 years minimum. |

****ing Mellinger thought this was an 8-8/9-7 team. Paylor thought they were 10-6 at best. It took a long time and proven winning for the Star writers to come around to this team and they're still not praising them. |

Nobody's even being mentioned as a frontrunner for our job yet, while other teams have already made their hires. We could have hired Lynn, Mike Smith or Teryl Austin already if they were the top choice. I think that means the Chargers are waiting on a candidate who's still coaching right now, which would be either Patricia or Toub. |
