Anything that tended to be 80s hip and stylish looks pretty ghastly by today's standards. Of course, I was either a student living in a small town or in the Navy throughout the 80s, so I never got caught up in that shit at all on a personal level. But watching movies from that time period now, yeah, it's horrible. Worse even than the 70s. I watched Purple Rain not long ago, and the scenes of the people in the audience was hysterical.

Worse than 'Saturday Night Fever'? Me thinks not.

I watched that a few weeks back on HDNet.

great flick. Travolta was one hell of a dancer and the man had "it".

Whatever "it" is. He had it.

Leisure suits were bad, but not as bad as guys wearing make-up.

And high top fade haircuts and 8-ball jackets.

heh, your right. Mostly the stuff trying to be stylish and hip from the 80's (Miami Vice) looks horribly dated now.

Watched Hitman finally the other night.

Didn't really buy Timothy Olyphant as the title character...not to mention it had a really convoluted plot that had me scratching my head several times.

Eh not the worst but could've been better.

I heard it was atrocious. Is it worth renting?

If you're a fan of the game, you'll probably hate it. I liked it well enough though.

As an "on it's own" product without the video game tie-in, I'd rate it a mid-7.

I just acquired "Pineapple Express" and "Bangkok Dangerous". I probably won't watch them tonight though.

I watched this tonight and I didn't like it that much. Kingsley did a great job, but I thought it was suppose to be a comedy and I didn't find anything funny about it. Dr. Squires was an interesting character, but I didn't like the Luke character. He was supposed to be a lonely outsider, but all the interactions he had with his customers and peers didn't strike me as him being an outsider. Maybe if I wasn't expecting a comedy it would have struck me in a more positive way.
