in Patrick's post-game presser he said that Andy told him the only 2 options were throwing it in the end zone or throwing it away. but I agree with baldy. should have hit Williams and gotten oob at the 10. would've left enough time for 1 shot before the fg. and a 10 yd pass is far tougher to defend (than from the 22..) in that situation.

See that.
Pat will learn. Next year, he'll hit the out and on the next play, we're in the SB. |

But if he makes it to the 5 or 4 and steps out with ~10 seconds left? This is all useless speculation, but like Clay said, hopefully Pat watches this on film and learns from it. That's the silver lining here. |

I hope he studies what Brady, Manning and Rivers do with these quick passes that disable elite pass rushers. God. Imagine Mahomes being able to extend plays like he does AND being able to switch his game at any point in time to destroy teams with quick passes. Impossible to defend. |
Is it any more difficult for Mahomes to throw the ball accurately for 30 yards as opposed to 10?
I'm not following the logic here. Are we talking about an easier FG? FAX THE CONFUSED |

I think it was the right call at the time. Better to get 50/50 deal (OT) than risk running out of time/INT, even if there was <20% for that.

this thread is dumb

From the 30 it's basically everyone run to the endzone and try to get open. They have 7 guys back there and can see the WRs coming all the way. |
