I bet he was nice.

Jewish Rabbi 05-11-2024 09:56 PM

He ever direct any big name actors like Johnny Sins?

Roger Corman directed a TON of movies. His movies were frequently on Joe Bob Briggs drive-in theatre.

RIP you sweet bastard.

LOVED Joe Bob Briggs.

But Roger Corman…. Dude was a legend. And ****ing brilliant. Mentored soooooo many young filmmakers and actors through his B system. While he might not necessarily be a household name, he mentored many, many “graduates” through his system, that have become legends in their own right. He was never afraid to give talented, young aspiring artists their chance to learn and cut their teeth in the business. There will likely never be another one like him. RIP.

Just recently started digging into Corman flicks. Definitely some good stuff there.

The man knew what the public liked.

Basically the first true independent filmmaker. Absolute legend. I mean look at his imdb. He has almost 500 producer credits. That's insane.
