142.2 db
Way to go KC
Suck it Seattle |
WOOT! 142.2 db WOOT!
|
what was the old record?
|
137.6 was the last record from Seattle.
|
Sorry Chiefs fans. The record doesn't stand. Rob gronkowski recorded 145 of db.
|
For those who don't know, 142.2 to beat 137.6 might not look like much, but in the world of decibels which is a logarithmic scale, that is a jaw-droppingly enormous improvement over the old number, to the point where you are immediately skeptical and wonder if the machine is broken.
If we really did that, then Seattle is screwed unless their decibel-measuring device is also broken. |
My ears are ringing, sitting in the end zone

And then the ball is back in our court. And then back in Seattle's.....and so on until the sound record is 99999999.9 db |
What al said.

Just did some quick math. Unless I screwed it up, I think we were about 188% louder than Seattle. Not just double, but almost triple. Thats what those harmless-looking 4.6 points mean
edit: in case anyone is curious, here's what I calculated % louder than Seattle = (10^14.22) / (10^13.76) |
I know I said I didn't care before, but **** it! this city is ON FIRE right now!! KC fans deserve every ****in bit of this! Get the record, get the win, Royals get the win tomorrow. MAKE THE CITY PROUD!
|
I just can't bring myself to care. Sorry.

I'm not too keen on this back-and-forth with the sound record, but Seattle fans are the biggest douchebags in the league. They can suck a fat one.
