Doing the same in Orlando.

Fingers crossed.

Click through the Forecast Hours. This is at 132. It then runs right up the entire state.

If water, food, and other essentials are all sold out in local stores, remember there is still time to order them through Amazon Prime with 2 day shipping.

We have an Amazon shipping center here in the Tampa area. We can get 1 day shipping.

A Cat5 hurricane hitting Miami and going straight up the middle of Florida?

Yeah, its too early to reliably predict when it turns north. But, they all turn north. A Cat5 would effect the whole state no matter where it comes ashore.

Right....if it stays a Cat 5 everywhere in FL will see some effect. I am 50 miles inland from the coast off Jacksonville. If the hurricane goes straight up the middle of FL i am outta here for a few days. If it veers off the coast I can probably ride it out here but will send the rest of the family inland (maybe to family in KC).

I hope this loses it's Cat 5 status...

Same here.....stocking up on water...keeping gas tank full and, the essential one, making sure I am stocked up on all my prescription meds.

I am home today because someone in our neighborhood thought it was cute to let air out of the tires of cars parked outside.

Heading up to Atlanta with the family before the storm hits.

All that rain heading to New England on Thursday, bring your rain cleats, Chiefs.

Gotta be real fun in the South Florida area when after a hurricane of this magnitude you have to survive the flooding, the criminal gangs of Haitians trying to loot and shoot you and then all the alligators swimming around streets and neighborhoods looking for an easy meal as you wade in chest high water!

I'll pass on Florida.....

I live in Key West, so needless to say I'm shitting bricks.

Yeah I've been there a couple of times and if my memory serves me correctly, there isn't any high ground around there. You better high tail it out of there dude.

Get off of ChiefsPlanet so you can go outside and board your place up. I suggest duct taping your roof down, too.
