Will the defense set the all-time yards allowed record?
Through 6 games we've given up 2,809 yards on defense. That puts us on pace to give up 7,491 yards for the season.
The all-time record for yards allowed in a season was set in 2012 by New Orleans with 7,042. What do you think? Can we do it? |
Oh, they WILL do it.........

Yes

Yes
And Mahomes will probably set the yardage mark for QBs. Maybe TDS, too. |
You bet

We have the tools to stop the bleeding. Unfortunately those tools have gaping vaginas and prefer to be cheerleaders on the sideline.

To make things sadder, that was the Saints team that was reeling from the bounty scandal, the year Sean Payton was suspended, and a few other coaches IIRC

Almost makes a guy pine away for G Rob's D from back in the day. Hopefully we can get some of the guys back that are out sooner, rather than later, Yo Eric!

At this point in 2003, the Chiefs defense had given up 2,162 yards.
That team would go on to finish the season #28 in yards allowed with 5,707. At our current pace, we will pass the 2003 defense's yards allowed throughput in week 13. |
03 defense is gold compared to this... And we all know how that ended for Mr Robinson
|
The real question is what week they'll blow past the record. It won't be Game 16.
|
Probably will have to wait two more weeks.
|
It can't be any worse. It's not possible.

I'm not sure why teams don't just run the ball and throw to the backs. What's the absolute worst that could happen?
