Another great season of game summaries George, appreciate you taking the time and always look forward to them.

I didn't take this loss as hard as I've taken season-ending losses in seasons past. I didn't think a team with a defense as bad as ours could win a Super Bowl, but they almost proved me wrong. Barring the NFL shutting down or Patrick Mahomes having an injury that ends his career, this season laid the foundation for the start of our dynasty. Mahomes changes everything. He changes how hard guys work in the offseason, because they know a championship is within their reach. He changes the types of free agents the Chiefs will attract. He changes the types of coaches (i.e. Rex Ryan) that have the Chiefs at the top of their lists.

Again, Mahomes changes EVERYTHING. If they get anything that remotely resembles a defense next year - and they will, because the Chiefs are now a prime destination franchise for any player that wants to win - watch the hell out. DYNASTY in the making. I can't wait to see what this offseason brings!

well George thanks for another great year of game reports, I always enjoy.

I to think we are in for a helluva ride the next few years and now that Sutton is gone we can look forward to a semi good defense, and maybe make the big show.

thanks again gman

For anyone willing to look past Michael Lombardi being a Belichick homer he goes play by play of Belichick's clock management at the end of the 1st half vs Andy Reid's clock management at the end of the 2nd half. He makes some good points and you have to wonder if Andy Reid will ever learn.

Skip to 25:55 for the Chiefs/Patriots game.

I wish I could stomach reliving this abortion of a team in chaos (the Chiefs) versus a well oiled machine (the Pats).

I hate the Pats because they are everything any team could be that has a smart and talented QB. Surround the smart and talented QB with good/tough coaching and gladiators for players, players willing to die for the cause (NOT Eric Winston) and scared enough to know they have to DO THEIR JOB "or else", and you get what we see in the Pats.

We get "I'll be your friend" Andy who suffers idiots who won't play (not "can't" play, WON'T play), and idiots who aren't disciplined enough to either line up onsides or study the system enough to take it to the next level. Oh, and evidently not disciplined enough have studied the other team's tape to know them better than they know themselves (like the Pats do). So stupid that the coaching staff doesn't appear to be willing to run a system that's complex enough to keep the booth talking heads from being able to call what the opposing team is going to do because, well, they've shown all their cards long before the snap.

Yeah, so I didn't listen for more then a few seconds, then I had to shut it down. I don't want to be reminded of what could have been...

We can blame Dee Ford all we want, but it was SOOOOO much more than that, and it all started before Sunday. Our team is a soap opera with a bunch of divas...
