Having a Saddlebock Brewery (local) Fayettechill Amber Farmhouse Ale.
Boozy at 8%. |

I enjoyed the play on words in the middle of that cumbersome name. |

Heh, I haven't had Dead Guy Ale for a while, but it's pretty good, too. I've narrowed down my taste quite a bit in the past year or so to mostly stouts, but I try some weird stuff, too. :) |

You guys are killing me with all these fine sounding beverages. Looks like drinks on the patio tonight. |

I love stouts and porters. And actually, I don't typically care for pale ales of any kind. Every so often a Dead Guy Ale hits the spot though. And I am all for experimenting but, a couple of those sound just a bit too bizarre for me. |

Maybe I didn't need to point that out but, your response led me to believe some clarification might be needed. :) |

O Fallon makes a pretty good pumpkin beer if you're around the KC area.
Don't know about shock top. I either buy local brews or cheap domestics. Might try it out. |

Merlot (for all the good reasons). Great visit to KU with my son, and had a blast with our first visit to colleges... So yeah, it's KU and I live in Missouri, but the process was fun and we have 8 more to go....
It was a god day.... |

Jesus. But they sell the pre mixed bud light with clamato out here by the truck load. The folks that have moved here from south of the border love it. |
Bloody Maria with picante clamato is a wonderful thing.

Sorry guys. :( And BL is my cheap beer for mixing red with it. |

And BL isn't exactly (or anywhere near) on par with good scotch... |

I don't get all of the hate for red beers. Hell, one of my best hang over cures is a red eye, red beer with a raw egg at the bottom. Chug it down and have another if the hang over is really bad. Getting that egg down is a bit tricky but, once you have accomplished that you are on the road to recovery.
