KC takes Algohor in the 1st.

Over Gregory? yeesh I like Agholor a lot, but spending a first round pick on a guy who most likely ends up in the slot might be questioned.

During the 2014 Regular Season, the Chiefs and Raiders led the NFL in unique pass catchers (players with at least 1 reception) with 16 each. The Bears only had 9.

Its pretty obvious that the chiefs distribute the ball around and get it to the open guy.....they dont force feed it to particular players.

Algohor looks like a Reid WR. I'd rather draft Algohor in this offense than Parker.

Greg Cossell has Perriman in his top group, above Parker. Perriman has his questions, but he's an interesting prospect. If Reid thinks he can "fix" his issues, the physical ability is top notch. I'm starting to talk myself into Perriman in the 1st and Stephone Anthony in the 2nd, then go corner and OL in the 3rd.

That's my guy at 18....or a trade down if possible.

Count me in with the Agholor camp. I love that he has open field ability - see his punt returns. I think this offense is entirely predicated on crisp routes and YAC - those are his strong suits.

He is perfect for this offense. Of course, it's possible Tyler Lockett in the fourth could be just as valuable.

O.city 04-26-2015 06:56 PM

I'd take both

BigChiefFan 04-26-2015 07:21 PM

No way do we take a slot receiver in the first round.

TambaBerry 04-28-2015 08:54 PM

Ok, I've tewatched some of the top wr and I think I want perriman.

I could see the Patriots grabbing him at the end of 1. If he lasts past then I'd love to get him in round 2.

Like most receivers that haven't faced much press in college, he'll have to prove he can beat it.

What worries me most about Agholor is his awful drop step on his release. He needs to learn to drive off his plant leg and go. That loses him time and press DBs will eat that up.

The other issue is that while he ran a 4.42 on the track, he doesn't create separation deep against college DBs.

So yes, I can see where the "slot only" label is coming from.

Personally, I think he's got a much higher ceiling than alot of guys give him credit. He could be Reggie Wayne good if he can fix some of the things I mentioned. He's also a tough cover on short hitches and such and is a terror once he has the ball in his hands. I agree he's not slot only, it doesn't mean those guys saying might not end up being correct.
