Mahomes = the future.

41 year old who french kisses his dad = the past.

Get used to being yesterday's news. Very soon you'll be busting out your Super Bowl DVDs to relive the glory days.

Mahomes may or may not have a bright future. One thing is for certain though - the odds of winning 5 rings are incredibly minuscule.

Which team's bandwagon are you jumping on after Tom Brady retires and your franchise becomes the post-Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls?

The Chiefs. Duh!

He will be here under a new name. BlowerOfMAhomes2018

Hey man Brady won 5 rings, it's true. You have that going for you and can hold it over everyone.

But try to stay on target here, you guys are just throwing shit at the wall and when none of it sticks you're going "Kiss the rings, bitch".

You should have just lead with that. When you lose like 10 talking points in a row and then fire back with that it makes you look pretty uninformed. It's allllllso why people kind of hate Pats fans.

Yeah, they probably won't cheat enough to get that accomplished. I mean, that took a LOT of cheating.

Luck must have been throwing to somebody because he had 365 passing yards. Ebron over 100.

That’s my point. It’s a bunch of nobodies. Your team gave up 366 yards to some no name receivers. Bad news, we’ve got more speed than you can imagine yet. Andy’s gonna do to you what Philly did to you in February.

You're missing the point. I'm trying to show you that these QBs, with their varying degrees of success, didn't even come close to what Mahomes has shown. And if your only argument is, "Shut up until you win eleventybillion Super Bowls," well, then there's no point in discussing this with you.

It's obvious you haven't watched him play...and that's fine. I wouldn't have expected you to. But the difference between him and every other QB to trot through the KC Metro area is vast. This isn't Jimmy Garoppolo managing a game or Matt Cassel having a decent season in place of Brady. This is a once-in-a-generation type of player. Just like Brady is/was. His vision, arm strength, accuracy...all of it, it's all apparent to pretty much everyone. And the consensus is that, so long as he stays healthy, odds are he will have every bit of success that people are predicting.

It's very exciting here in KC to have a guy like this. Much like it was for Pats fans after week 1 in 2016.

To be fair, we only need 4 to match your shit franchise. But you're right, who knows if the NFL will allow us to cheat our way several titles. One can only hope

Mahomes at his age has looked better than any other quarterback in NFL history.

You think the Patriots will approach this game exactly like they did the Colts game? We morph into a different team every week depending on the opponent. One of the biggest changes I expect this week would be to have Devin McCourty go back to his FS duty, and have Chung cover the TE. Against KC's speed, McCourty will be needed at FS, and Chung can go back to doing what he does best.

LOVE MY CHIEFS. Should be a good game, made a pretty significant wager on the cheifs Straight up. I just hope i have better luck than last year. Lost a substantial amount of my poker winnings betting football games.
I dont know how its possible to be so unlucky to lose 9 straight bets and they are straight up bets no lines. Last time i laid anything was that horrific playoff game loss to tennessee, Hopefully 10th time is the charm, 1st bet on my boys all year!!!

Kiimo 10-09-2018 03:44 PM

Now that's some good info.

I expect with the linebacker and safety issues the Chiefs have that Julian Edleman will have about 15 catches but I'm not sure if they'll go deep enough to keep up.

They're like a chameleon. The greatest team ever. They just morph into whatever is needed.
