Yeah, they have to find God at some point.

Watch it be Cas.

They did that 2 seasons ago. Cas became as powerful as God.

Yeah I remember when Cas took over for God but wasn't God. Maybe God will be a hot-ass demon chick?
That'd work.

I think the main problem with the leviathans was that they made them too powerful. The writers had to pull out too many convoluted plot devices to keep pulling Sam and Dean out of the leviathans' grasp (deus ex machina).

I did like how they were able to mix in a lot of "monster of the week" episodes, though.

I wonder if a series finale story arc could involve the Winchesters finding God (literally, not spiritually). The angels keep implying that God is missing.

I caught a re-run on TNT last week where the outcast angel Anna said that there were only four angels she knew of that have actually seen God. It was just speculation on my part, but if they are going to wrap the show, finding God has to be the end game, you would think. Just don't let it turn into a Contact type moment where they find God, and he turns out to be Jeffery Dean Morgan.

And I agree about the Leviathan storyline. Least interesting baddies yet. But, Castiel pretty much wiped the angels off this plane of existence, and Crowley has his minions laying low. We'll see how it goes. (And wasn't it implied by Crowley after Dick was killed that the Leviathans would still be around, but nowhere as powerful? I can't quite recall....)

Yes. Cut off the head and the body won't know what to do. Kind of a half-ass solution it seemed to me.

Um, guys... they already showed who God was a long time ago...

Ah, man. Is Dean going to be the "soulless" one this year? Or is there some big bad baddie inside of him, waiting to destroy all that is?

Thoughts on the premiere anyone? Kind of weak in my opinion. They really need to think about wrapping the series up.

I thought it was pretty good. There's an undercurrent with Dean like something's wrong, but they left it vague. I'm wondering if he did something to Cas to get himself and the other dude out. The dog and doc thing was a little weird, but I'm hoping that gets explained a bit more.

My wife said the same thing about Cas & Dean getting out.
