No, the original question was: out of the last 20 drafts, how many Super Bowl rings for 1st round QBs.

The answer is 13.

Now if you ask the OTHER question: out of the last 20 Super Bowls, how many won by 1st round QBs.

The answer is 14.

Here's a third question: why did you pop out of a cow's womb instead of a human's?

I need a 20 year study on each position before making any conclusions.

Hammock Parties 02-15-2013 01:03 PM

Wait I ****ed this all up. It's 13 APPEARANCES and 7 rings out of the last 20 drafts.

Thanks for reading.

**** yourselves.

14/20 winners were from the 1st round though, including guys drafted way earlier than the last 20 years. Elway, etc.

Got it. Thanks, sorry for the confusion.

Now go back to work on how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop

Brees and Warner were not 1st round picks.

Dayze 02-15-2013 01:07 PM

last year I think, I did a comparison of the elite teams that had won a SB (or been to one I think) and there was only like 2 lineman in the past 10 yrs + that were drafted in the 1st on those teams.

true fans weep.

Hammock Parties 02-15-2013 01:07 PM

This thread is completely confusing now.

Just ****ing draft Geno before our brains turn to mush.

You mean other than us beating the Steelers in the playoffs with Garrard and almost beating the Patriots to go to the AFC championship game for the third time?
