That choreography left a little to be desired....

BigRichard 06-04-2018 05:52 PM

Oh boy, more Luke Cage walking around and being indestructible...

Deberg_1990 06-04-2018 06:06 PM

So what were Cage and the rest of the Defenders doing while Thanos was invading the Earth?

Fighting the Hand for the twentieth time.

Like any semblance of believability?

I can see an asian woman who's trained with supernatural ninjas 1/2 her life taking on 5 drunks at a bar. I can't see a woman who lost an arm a month before doing it...

The first episode of season 2 was a strong start.

Four episodes in, I'm liking season 2 way, way more than season 1.

This gives me hope. It took me months to get through the first season. And really the only reason I stuck it out was just to stay in the loop with the Marvel universe.

Just finished. Even though the season was built around my least favorite part of season 1 (Mariah), it was really good. Not as much action as I expected, a lot of talk, but it was the best Marvel thing I've seen since season 2 Daredevil.

Halfway through the season. Former Chiefs RB Thomas Jones is a decent actor.

He appeared in season one as Comanche, one of the villains, and did a great job showing off some surprising acting chops.

Spoiler!

I had no idea that was Thomas Jones.

Funny how big he looks when he's not next to linemen.

Finished J. Jones yesterday and blah. IMO the worst Netflix season so far (yes, even worse than Iron fist.) Of all things I found the Hogarth sub plot the best part of the whole show. I'd argue Trenody was also by far the best actor on the show this season. I think it really suffered from not having a great actor/nemesis opposite Jones.

I want to take a week or so break before stating Cage so the stink of Jones doesn't carry over and jade me...
