Body Double - 1984 back when Brian DePalma was good, Scarface, Blowout, Dressed to Kill, Carrie to name a few. This one for some reason doesn't get the fame it deserves. Stars two actors you probably have seen many times but don't know there names, Craig Wasson and Gregg Henry along with a young sexy Melanie Griffith and beautiful Deborah Shelton. There's a big twist so I don't want to give away too much. If you liked the style of Dressed to Kill or Blowout, this one follows suit. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eq0lPMhCwl...600/Wasson.jpg http://magnum-mania.com/images/8_5_o_full.jpg http://www.aveleyman.com/Gallery/2017/S/15788.jpg |
If you haven’t seen Suicide Kings do so. If you have, watch it again.

Excalibur has stood up fairly well. Saw it as a kid and violence blew my mind.
Manhunter is an all time favorite of mine. Watching Dunkirk reminded me of another England type WW2 movie I really enjoyed- Hope and Glory. |

The 'signature' name finally came to me. Roger DeCoster. This is exactly what I built my kit around, as described above. https://bmxmuseum.com/forsale/201609...0375410_lg.jpg |

It was a little heavier than the lightest frames of the time [mid-80s], but I actually liked the heft. And I REALLY like the geometry. My buddy had a GT Pro Performer, and every time I tried to get big air, it wanted to wiggle out from under me in the air, and I played heck landing it with my feet still on the pedals. The Mongoose was light enough to accelerate quickly but had enough heft to stay under me even when I was 10-15 feet off the ground. It just felt 'right' whatever I wanted to do on it. Ground stuff, air stuff, dirt stuff. Real solid and well thought out. Buddy's bike was almost exactly like this; https://bmxmuseum.com/image/zblack.jpg_633_blowup.jpg It was OK on the ground, doing decades and endos and shit. But I hated it in the dirt or in the air. |

We may need a retro Skateboard and BMX / Freestyle bike thread! I'd def. post a lot in it. |
I'd imagine Spot and KC United would as well. Many others too, I think.
